Arjun Tendulkar, not Pranav Dhanawade, was eligible for West Zone U-16 team

Arjun Tendulkar's selection in the West Zone U-16 team has not gone good with the social media but what they are debating doesn't even deserve an argument.

The social media is abuzz about Pranav Dhanawade being left out of the West Zone’s U-16 cricket team. The topic of controversy being Arjun Tendulkar’s selection in the team and leaving out Pranav.
While the social media is unhappy that Arjun was selected because of ‘influence of his father’ – Sachin Tendulkar, they also argue that Pranav’s record innings of 1, 009 runs was ignored.

But there is more to the story.
Arjun has represented Mumbai U-16 team at the state level which makes him eligible for selection in Zonal teams. On the other hand, Pranav is yet to be selected for Mumbai team in that category.
Pranav recently turned 16 and his record knock was after the Mumbai team had been picked.
